I lost 20 pounds between working out at Orangetheory fitness and changing my lifestyle. In this video, I explain how you can use Orangetheory to help lose weight in a healthy manner.

first of all I'd like to say by no means am I saying you go to Orange Theory you

lose 20 pounds that's not what I'm saying at all I'm just saying it helped

me in my journey lose 20 pounds somehow with everything else and I'm going to

say that you know you hear this a lot working out is like 20% fitness or sorry

nutrition is like 80 and that's pretty true when I was doing this I was working

out but I was also eating really really clean and I was very in tuned with my

nutrition for about like since like September October of 2018 to like March

or April of 2019 I was very very strict and on a mission I went to Orange Theory

five six sometimes seven days a week I was even doing like two days at some

point and I just had the energy for it I loved it I you know I love Orange Theory

still but that's what I was doing I set out that time and I talked about this in

my other videos that I made that appointment I made that date with Orange

Theory and I went every single day I also meal prepped I still do meal prep

every week and I ate really clean at the time I I'm a vegetarian now I ate meat

at the time so I would eat basically only a few different things oatmeal for

breakfast or eggs in the morning with Ezekiel bread so it was either egg whites

with vegetables and spinach and then Ezekiel bread or oatmeal with like

blueberries and then vanilla like vegan protein powder with almond milk and then

for lunch I would have like a ground turkey normally on spinach with

vegetables or chicken breast with spinach and vegetables and like sweet potato and that was pretty much what I ate the whole time and I actually really

enjoyed it like I enjoyed prepping those things in different ways I would not I

would not eat that exact same thing every single time but I would make

variations of those things and I really enjoyed it like I would do like you know

a spaghetti type ground turkey and that was really good another thing I talked

about in other videos is when you meal prep just make things that you enjoy

don't meal prep things that you know you're not gonna enjoy and you're gonna try to force yourself to eat if you do that you're not gonna eat it so that is

how I got through it and I'm gonna show you some before and after pictures and

it was I realized it really wasn't about losing weight in the beginning it was I

wanted to lose weight but I realized throughout and afterward it was more of

like look what I can do you can do this if you set your mind to it you can

achieve your goals man that sounds cliche but it also helped me mentally get

through some humps and just become more confident mentally and physically it

really gets you through it's like you're constant all the way through so through

all that you know you a lot of times people are looking for a fitness routine

or a diet and thinking how can I get to that end goal I want to see myself like

this now but you just can't think of it that way you have to like think of it as

being in a relationship with your nutrition and your fitness like a

relationship is not an overnight thing you have to nurture that relationship

and spend time with it constantly and you're not just gonna overnight have you

know I mean it may be but like go from being single to having this amazing

marriage with the big house and all these kids like that takes time there

are progressions that need to happen in between and that's what I feel like

between you know your starting point and and what you want to be there's all

these fun things that you need to do and without those experiences then what would

be the point you went through all that hard work you want to have all that

hard work to show you know that you did this so that is how I made it lost 20
