Alright, hello everyone and welcome to my YouTube channel. I'm Anna and I do all
0:07
sorts of videos about fitness and nutrition and milk prepping all the
0:12
things that I have just utilized and learned over the last two years changing
0:17
kind of the way I eat and the way I stay active. So what I'm going to be talking
0:24
about today is one of my favorite things to talk about and that is orange theory
0:29
which is my favorite gym I've been going for yeah about two years now and
0:35
there's so many things that I love about it and could say about it and I I do in
0:40
other videos so be sure to check those out and also subscribe to my channel if
0:45
you'd like to see more of this type of thing but what I'm talking about today is can a true beginner do orange theory and I guess I'm assuming this means true
0:55
beginner to any sort of gym or maybe in even fitness yes the answer is yes you
1:04
can if you're out there and you're looking at orange theory and thinking about it and you've never worked out a day in your life you never set foot in
1:11
a gym the answer is yes anybody can do it by that I mean when you walk into
1:19
orange theory you're not going to be paying attention to other people so much
1:24
because you're really just focusing on you and what you can do and your ability
1:30
so every exercise is going to be demoed for you every single time so they're not
1:36
going to expect you to expect to remember all these different workouts
1:41
there is a trainer in there for an entire hour telling you step by step
1:46
what to do with what equipment and so they're not going to let you hang and
1:52
dry there and they're going to make sure that you have the correct form they
1:56
realize there are all different levels in there there is a true beginner and there's people who've been doing it for years the only way you get to that point
2:04
though is begin like everybody had to begin and start somewhere I know there's
2:09
people that are nervous about you know what people think about them but really
2:14
honestly I just feel like people just don't care they're only into what
2:18
they're doing and then the other thing is you can do everything at your own
2:23
level so coaches often they always do they do modifications so say if you
2:30
can't don't jump a lot because your knees or you know you just want to take
2:35
a step down or something there's always modifications that they can give you and
2:40
show you to do it at your level and as far as like the rowers there's three
2:46
sections rowers treadmill and weight floor how fast you row and how fast you
2:53
run that happened that's different for everybody you can walk on the treadmill
2:58
you can power walk you can even do the elliptical or the bike instead of you
3:04
know one of those two instead of the rower or the treadmill but no one again no one's gonna be looking at your speed at trying to compete with you you know
3:12
maybe there are people like that but nobody's gonna be judging you is what
3:16
I'm trying to say each person is on their own journey what orange theory is
3:21
about is like progressing in your own goals in your own journey so since I've
3:26
started I've already gotten you know faster on the treadmill faster stronger
3:32
on the rower stronger on the weight floor and it's just amazing like just
3:36
going and without even of course I'm trying but without really even thinking
3:41
about it I'm like six months down the road I'm like wow I would have never
3:45
ever been able to row 300 watts and now I can just because of the endurance you
3:53
get there and you know running on the treadmill sprinting on the treadmill
3:57
doing your first mile you just make progressions and they also have a way of
4:03
tracking those they do have what's called bench bark so like once or twice
4:08
a year you can track how well you do on those different stations and they'll
4:14
track them for you in the orange theory system which you can see in your app and
4:19
everything so honestly the environment's super supportive and positive and they just want to help you in your goals truly so truly nobody cares and the
4:30
answer is completely yes if you are a beginner you can do orange theory
