The Easiest Protein Smoothie

This delicious vegan protein smoothie is quick and east to make and it will give you energy to get you through your next workout. After experimenting with many types of protein drinks, this is by far my favorite recipe. It gives you natural energy from the berries and will keep you full until your next meal.

need a little pick-me-up, a little snack right, but you don't want anything too

heavy because you're working out and you don't want stuff like jiggling around your tummy. So what is a really good thing for that is a power smoothie and

I'm getting ready right now to go work out myself but I need a little bit of

energy and did you know berries give you natural energy. A little fun fact for

you there. So we are gonna make the best power smoothie you have ever tasted in

your life. Alright so what we are gonna be needing or use. I happen to like this

protein powder. I'm partial to it but you can use whatever protein powder you want

I don't do whey. I do vegan so this is a good organic vegan protein powder and I

get it at Costco and on Amazon you can get it either place but I'm gonna do two

scoops of that. So the vanilla is really good it goes with a lot of different

flavors obviously and they have a really good chocolate one but obviously

anything you put with that one it's gonna take on a chocolate flavor. The vanilla is just a little bit more you know mild and it goes along with

basically any recipe. So now I'm gonna be doing a little bit of chia seeds. So

chia is really good for your digestion. It's got a lot of good fiber in it. I

always like to add a little bit chia or little flax in my recipes where I can in

my oatmeal or my smoothies. I'm just gonna add like one spoonful of that

because that goes a long way. Okay now all of these little things I like to use

for my smoothies you can just kind of mix and match. I have some berries

blackberries here I'm just gonna throw in there and that's gonna be kind of my

fruit. So those are gonna be going in those will be great. A banana what would

there and I'm gonna make this smoothie for like two people so that's why I've

got a lot of ingredients going in. You can always like freeze the smoothies

afterwards to put it in like a little Tupperware and almost eat it like an

ice cream. You could put like honey and toasted coconut and nuts on top and make

it like your own little smoothie bowl or acai bowl kind of like that. So all right

now for my liquid I'm gonna be adding some unsweetened almond milk. You can use

sweetened vanilla almond milk but this is the one I like. I happen to like

unsweetened just doesn't add that extra vanilla flavor I don't really care for

it and then I will be adding some of this powdered peanut butter organic you

can get it on Amazon. A big jug of it I'm always gonna go through a lot of it so I

buy the thing and that's basically just pressed peanuts the oil taken out of it

in there and I added just a little bit of water in there as well as the almond

big staple in my diet. A blender a good high-quality blender like a ninja is

blend like oats in there and make your own oat flour all kinds of things so I'm
